About Image Resizer

Image Resizer is a free tool for resizing images — to an exact width and height, or to a ready-made preset like an Instagram post or a YouTube thumbnail — directly in your web browser. There's no sign-up, no watermark, and no limit on how many images you resize.

Why is it free?

Every tool here runs in your own browser using plain JavaScript, not a server we operate. Because we're not paying to process anything on our own infrastructure, there's no per-use cost to pass on — the site is instead supported by advertising.

Nothing you upload ever leaves your device

Every resize on this site happens locally, using your browser's own Canvas APIs. The image you drop in is read directly into your browser's memory, resized there, and offered back to you as a download — it is never transmitted to any server we operate.
